Milly

Milly came in as a puppy with her mom and sister.
She grew up here, but not without impact.

She’s a loving dog — very affectionate once she trusts you.
Soft, connected, and extremely good with puppies. She naturally teaches boundaries better than most dogs here.

But she’s also a fearful dog.

Loud noises, traffic, and unfamiliar environments can overwhelm her.
When that happens, she becomes reactive — not out of aggression, but out of fear.

She doesn’t go straight to biting.
She warns, she communicates — but you need to be able to read it and respond correctly.

This is where most people fail.

On leash, she actually works well.
She can focus, engage, and improve.

With other dogs, she does best with:

  • males

  • calm, low-energy dogs

  • confident dogs

She struggles more with high-energy or unstable ones.

She is not a city dog.
And forcing her into that environment will likely set her back.

What she needs is:

  • an experienced handler

  • structure and consistency

  • someone who understands fear-based reactivity

This is not a beginner dog.

But if you know what you’re doing —she has a lot to give.

✿ She is neutered and fully vaccinated.
