Daisy

Shepard Mix, Energy with a Side of Goofy

Daisy didn’t exactly arrive here — she followed Tombik, our 9+ year farm veteran, back on one of his daily wanderings. At first, she was terrified of people. For days she would only creep out at night to eat and then vanish again by morning. It took weeks before we could touch her, and months before she was ready to join the pack.

She came in with mange, skin issues, and no trust left for humans. A year later, she’s unrecognizable — affectionate, kissy, and attached to the people she feels safe with. Still, Daisy is cautious. New people or loud farm workers send her straight into hiding until the coast is clear. She’s a work in progress, but her transformation so far has been nothing short of amazing.

Daisy has energy to burn, loves puppies, and actually helps keep some of the more chaotic dogs in line. She’s playful, sometimes bossy, and always entertaining — especially with her tongue that hangs out almost 24/7, giving her the most ridiculous face.

She’s never lived in a city and would probably struggle to adapt — traffic, noise, and crowds aren’t her thing. What she needs is patience, love, and consistency.
